Corian® was invented in 1967 by DuPont ™, the first manufacturer of solid surface materials in the world. It is a durable, non-porous, homogeneous surface material, consisting of about 1/3 of acrylic resin (also known as polymethyl, methacrylate or PMMA), and about 2/3 of natural minerals. Available in a palette of 88 colors.
